# Delete your account

Deleting your account removes it together with its plan, balance, searches and settings.

## How it works

1. Open [General](https://www.osintcat.net/account/general) in your account settings and choose to delete your account.
2. We email you a 6-digit code. Enter it to confirm.
3. You are signed out everywhere. Your account is deleted 30 days later.

Your account needs a verified email address before you can delete it, because the code is sent there.

## Changing your mind

Sign in during those 30 days and choose to restore your account. Everything is as you left it. If you don't sign in, the deletion goes ahead on the date we showed you.

**Your subscription stops renewing.** When you confirm, a paid plan no longer renews. If you restore the account in time, it continues as before.
