# How lookups are counted on your plan

Each plan includes an amount of lookups, shown on its card on [Pricing](https://www.osintcat.net/pricing). Most lookups count as one. A few modules that cost more to run count as several; the API documentation lists each one.

## When you run out

You can:

- keep going from your balance at the pay-as-you-go price, if you allow it in [Billing](https://www.osintcat.net/billing),
- wait until your lookups refill, or
- move to a bigger plan.

A lookup that finds nothing because of an error on our side is not counted.

## Max

Max has no fixed number of lookups. To keep the service fast for everyone, very heavy use is slowed down for a short while instead of being blocked.
